Vampire Mountain by Darren Shan

…Vampire Mountain was full of action, the chapters still ended with hooks that drove you to the next page, and had a terrific cliffhanger. There was also a rather unbelievable scene involving polls and bars and a very, very talented warrior. I had a hard time buying that scene, and it’s one of the reasons I felt that this was the weakest book in the series.
