Some books simply ensnare you in the first few chapters, and that’s what happened to me when I picked up Generation Loss… Elizabeth Hand successfully conjures the ‘70s punk scene — something of which I’m ignorant yet, when Hand writes about it, it not only sounds authentic but actually feels familiar… Generation Loss definitely impressed me, a book that hooks you and drowns you with its many layers.
