Books and Writing:

The troubles at literary agency Red Sofa began when the owner tweeted that, during the protests against police brutality and violence in New York City, she had called the police about some people she saw down the street at a gas station. She said they were looting. Several of her agents replied critically about her choice. Several agents quit, and the owner then fired the others and closed the agency.

The owner issued an apology on Twitter but she’s now sending Cease and Desist letters to those agents and others (who have since quit Red Sofa) telling them to take down their tweets. I checked in on this via Twitter, but thanks to File 770 for this link.
