I have the plague.  Well, okay, not really.  I have strep.  Which means I am in lots of pain as I wait for the penicillin injection (more pain) to kick in to effect.

What this means for Thoughtful Thursday is that I don’t have the brain capacity to come up with a witty or thought-provoking topic.  So, I’m turning to you, dear readers, to feel in the gap. What topics do you think we should cover in this space in future columns?

Post a comment and I won’t wipe my germs on you.  Also, and slightly less awesome, we’ll enter you into a drawing to win a book! A good book, that we’ll choose in a somewhat random manner from our stacks of finished ARCs and mail to you at some point in the not too distant future! (Actually, if I’m feeling better, I might let you choose the book).

  • Ruth Arnell

RUTH ARNELL (on FanLit's staff January 2009 — August 2013) earned a Ph.D. in political science and is a college professor in Idaho. From a young age she has maxed out her library card the way some people do credit cards. Ruth started reading fantasy with A Wrinkle in Time and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe — books that still occupy an honored spot on her bookshelf today. Ruth and her husband have a young son, but their house is actually presided over by a flame-point Siamese who answers, sometimes, to the name of Griffon.
