Over a year ago we had our first Fantasy Limerick Contest. Let’s try it again!
Put your rhyming cap on and do us the favor of summarizing a favorite (or not so favorite) fantasy book or series in the traditional limerick style:fantasy and science fiction book reviews

  • Five lines. Lines 1, 2, and five rhyme together, lines 3 and 4 make their own rhyme.
  • We won’t worry too much about meter. And let’s ignore all those elves from Nantucket.

Your limerick must be written by you for this contest (not published elsewhere). Here’s one to get you started:

There once was a hobbit who lived in a hole
Eschewing adventure and smoking a bowl.
Fourteen dwarves came to call
And off he went to the dragon’s hall
Returning with a ring he stole.

The creator of our favorite limerick wins a book from our stacks.
