Frank Tuttle’s publisher has put his “The Mister Trophy” FREE today (no idea how long) — and his pre-release (March26) book, Brown River Queen is on special for pre-order. All the sites seem to be carrying the free and sale.
If you haven’t tried Frank’s Markhat series, now is a good time. I rave about this series all the time; it’s one of my favorites. The genre is probably closest to UF, but it’s not dark UF–just really good mysteries with lots of atmosphere. The first three are fairly short books. I love them all.
The Mad Scientists anthology is only $1.99 today at Amazon.
They’re thrillers, not SFF, bu you might like them anyway. The price (free!) is certainly right. http://www.amazon.com/Free-quot-Read-First-Thrillers/lm/R2RM1CA2LK3K51/180-1186024-6635618

999: New Stories of Horror and Suspense, edited by Al Sarrantonio, for $3.79
Boy’s Life by Robert McCammon for $3.79 — one of the best horror books I’ve ever read, quite gentle in its horror, and more an elegy to lost youth
All of these came through a newsletter I’ve been getting from http://ehorrorbargains.com; lots of good stuff at that website and coming through daily.
Bitter Seeds is on sale for 2.99 today:

I haven’t read it, but it’s been on my wishlist.
Frank Tuttle’s All the Paths of Shadow is also on sale today for $1.99

I have read it and really enjoyed it. It’s “cozier” than a lot of UF/Steampunk that is out there so it’s right up my alley. A fun adventure, a great familiar, and some spooky atmosphere (and was 9.99 when it first came out.)
Hounded by Keven Hearne is on sale for 2.99. I think today is the last day. It’s not really my cup of tea, but the writing is very strong (it’s just that I don’t like the characters). The story moves along well.
Today only: Dawn (The Xenogenesis Trilogy) by Octavia Butler $2.99
