Great SFF Deals!

We’re always looking for money-saving deals on books, comics, and audiobooks and we bet you are, too.

Let’s use this page to alert each other about great deals.

Just leave a comment here with links. Occasionally we’ll go through and delete old ones.

Every couple of months we’ll reward one deal-poster with a book of their choice from our stacks.

FanLit is a hobby for us, but it costs us money to run the site. You can help by using our links to purchase books at Amazon. Just click on our images of the book covers. It won't cost you any extra, but FanLit will get a referral fee for anything you buy (not just books). We use this money to pay for our domain names, hosting, software, and mailing books to giveaway winners. Thank you!

    Neal Stephenson’s Anathem is $1.99 only ( http://www.amazon.com/Anathem-ebook/dp/B0015DPXKI/ ) – one great price/page number ratio there ;)

  5. Frank Tuttle’s publisher has put his “The Mister Trophy” FREE today (no idea how long) — and his pre-release (March26) book, Brown River Queen is on special for pre-order. All the sites seem to be carrying the free and sale.

If you haven’t tried Frank’s Markhat series, now is a good time. I rave about this series all the time; it’s one of my favorites. The genre is probably closest to UF, but it’s not dark UF–just really good mysteries with lots of atmosphere. The first three are fairly short books. I love them all.

  6. The Mad Scientists anthology is only $1.99 today at Amazon.

  7. They’re thrillers, not SFF, bu you might like them anyway. The price (free!) is certainly right. http://www.amazon.com/Free-quot-Read-First-Thrillers/lm/R2RM1CA2LK3K51/180-1186024-6635618

Brandon Sanderson’s The Way of Kings is currently $2.99 in ebook format

  9. Agent of change by Lee & Miller is free at Baen.com (Free Library)

  10. Ghost Box Set by Scott Nicholson — six supernatural thrillers, including The Red Church, Drummer Boy, Burial to Follow, Speed Dating with the Dead, The Dead Love Longer and Creative Spirit, all for $3.99

999: New Stories of Horror and Suspense, edited by Al Sarrantonio, for $3.79

Boy’s Life by Robert McCammon for $3.79 — one of the best horror books I’ve ever read, quite gentle in its horror, and more an elegy to lost youth

All of these came through a newsletter I’ve been getting from http://ehorrorbargains.com; lots of good stuff at that website and coming through daily.

  11. Bitter Seeds is on sale for 2.99 today:

I haven’t read it, but it’s been on my wishlist.

Frank Tuttle’s All the Paths of Shadow is also on sale today for $1.99

    http://www.amazon.com/All-Paths-Shadow-ebook/dp/B00BWVEL4C/ref=sr_1_1_bnp_1_kin?ie=UTF8&qid=1364492078&sr=8-1&keywords=all+the+paths+of+shadow

I have read it and really enjoyed it. It’s “cozier” than a lot of UF/Steampunk that is out there so it’s right up my alley. A fun adventure, a great familiar, and some spooky atmosphere (and was 9.99 when it first came out.)

  12. Hounded by Keven Hearne is on sale for 2.99. I think today is the last day. It’s not really my cup of tea, but the writing is very strong (it’s just that I don’t like the characters). The story moves along well.
