Some of your favorite authors take some time to answer our questions:
Got any news to share?
Jesse Bullington: My third novel, The Folly of the World, will be released by Orbit on December 18th. I’m really excited about this one, which is more of a late medieval crime novel with some weird flourishes than a straight-up fantasy along the lines of my first two projects.
Rachel Aaron: My final ELI MONPRESS novel, Spirit’s End, comes out November 20! This the conclusion to the series, and I think readers are really going to like it. At least, I hope readers are going to like it, otherwise December is going to be a rough month of angry emails!
What are you working on these days?
Pati Nagle: I’m just finished up a new fantasy that came out this Halloween: Dead Man’s Hand is about a poker tournament played by Wild Bill Hickock and four other famous murdered card players, all resurrected for the occasion by the mysterious owner of a secret, magical casino. Only one will win…the right to stay alive!
Jim C. Hines: I’m writing Codex Born, the sequel to Libriomancer. We already have cover art and a release date, so I suppose I’d better get that done, eh?
Read any good books lately?
Morgan Keyes (Mindy Klasky): I’m currently reading Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes, a middle grade fantasy that is part SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS, part The Hobbit, part HARRY POTTER, and all fun!
Alma Alexander: I’m in the middle of reading David Brin’s latest — complex and involving.

Archangel: Stunningly beautiful and emotionally compelling
The Door in the Hedge: Nothing exceptional
Currently engrossed in Folly of the World. I’m loving it more than a person of sound mind should.
Thanks, Justin, glad you’re enjoying it!
