The Six Kingdoms — Leah Cutter is currently working on this trilogy. The first novel will be titled Harp of Stars. The second will be Harp of Light, and the third is tentatively titled Harp of Fire. According to her blog, “these novels are all about going to extremes. The first novel is about starting down that path, the second novel is actually going to those extremes, then the third novel is about having to come back and find some balance.”

The main character, Xiao Yen, takes paper, folds it into the shape of an animal or a thing, then casts magic so the paper becomes the thing she has folded. Her problem? She has lost her luck...
The Caves of Buda — (2004) Publisher: A Roman magician binds a 5-stone-eyed demon deep in caves in a part of the world that eventually become known as Budapest, Hungary. Now, the bindings are breaking. The three main characters have to either rebind the demon, or destroy it, before it causes another war in Eastern Europe.
